The Georgia Hispanic Bar Association andRegion XII of the Hispanic National Bar Association are bringing back the Perfect Pitch event, an amazing professional development opportunity for young latino /a attorneys to practice the skill of pitching business to potential clients, with real time feedback from in-house counsel. Thank you to our friends at Jones Day for hosting this year’s Perfect Pitch event.
Event Rules
Perfect Pitch is an opportunity for firm associates to learn how to pitch for legal work in front of real in-house counsel. It’s set up so the young lawyers (8 years or less of practice) are divided into groups of 3 or 4 and given a fictitious request for proposal (RFP). These groups then pitch their (fictitious) firm's services to in-house counsel based on the RFP. The program is meant to be a relaxed, low-risk opportunity for associates to practice pitching legal work and get feedback from real in-house counsel--like you!
There will, of course, be food and drinks available for the in-house counsel and the associates after the program.
The date for this year's program is Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 5:30pm.
The event will be hosted by Jones Day in Atlanta located in Colony Square (1221 Peachtree St NE Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30361).”
